30-Day Returns

You may return most new, unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. To start a return, contact us with your order number.

180-Day Limited Warranty

All products are covered by a 180-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a product fails within 180 days, we will repair it, replace it, or refund it at our discretion.

UV Products – Lamp Exclusion

For UV clarifiers and UV sterilizers, the UV lamp/bulb/tube is a consumable part and is NOT covered by the warranty. The unit housing, ballast, and seals remain covered for 180 days.

Return Shipping

For returns or warranty replacements, the buyer is responsible for one-way return shipping to us. If the return is due to our error (defective item, wrong item shipped), we will cover the return shipping.

Exchanges – $15 Handling Fee

If you ordered the wrong item and need an exchange, a $15 handling fee applies per exchange, plus you cover the return shipping. The replacement ships after we receive the returned item.

Non-Returnable Items

Opened filter media, water treatments, fish food, and any item damaged by misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance are not eligible for return.

How to Start a Return

Email us at brian.c@aquamax.us with your order number and reason. We will provide return instructions and a return address. Items must be clean, drained, and securely packed.
