Description
Canister filters deliver powerful, high-capacity filtration, making them ideal for larger or heavily stocked aquariums. Designed for both freshwater and saltwater setups, they maximize performance with their spacious filter chambers.
These external filters offer excellent mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration, providing flexibility to use a wide range of filter media. Water is drawn into the canister through the intake at the bottom, pushed through the selected media by the built-in pump, and then returned to the tank through the outlet.
Because canister filters sit outside the aquarium, they provide a large volume of filtration without taking up space inside the tank. They can also be easily disconnected for cleaning or maintenance without disturbing your aquarium or its inhabitants.
